Our goal is to put sound minds, gentle dispositions in well conformed, talented, easy riding, natural horses. We offer horses for sale, stud service to Arian Gold Perfect'n (a.k.a.  Due to the current economic conditions and glut of horses, we at Lumbertown Farm and not currently doing any breeding of our exceptioanl horses. We feel strongly that it is not only the responsible but, in fact, the only reasonable and humane thing to do at this point.

It is also imperative that the public begin to understand the the vast majority of Tennessee Walking Horses outside the showring are not padded and sored but rather they are cherished by their owners for both their outstanding dispositions as well as the awesome gait we refer to as "the glide ride".

Tennessee Walking horses offer their riders a "glide ride" and a level-headed disposition. While many people unfamiliar with the breed may automatically associate the "big lick" show horse as the ultimate gait of the TWH, far more of our breed's horses are ridden in a regular keg shoe, or even barefoot.

The horses of Lumbertown Farm are flatshod, wearing only a simple keg shoe, or barefoot and still are fine examples of the comfortable, 4-beat gait known as a running walk.

In addition to the horses, we would also like to have you take a few moments to meet our Cardigan Welsh Corgis.
